The ETAMIC air rings with open air jets measure continuous or
shouldered shafts

The measurement is taken with two or three measuring jets located apart on grinded cylindrical body.
The measured diameters are ranging between 6 mm and 200 mm. The rings are fixed or mobile, and have a considerable introduction clearance. This introduction can be facilitated by using a ve guide.
The air rings can be used with all ETAMIC range of measuring instruments either directly on a visual display (pneumo-electronic CEZ , C61 comparator) or indirectly through a CSZ, CEB, electronic CEZ.

The rings can be made of an alloy of high wear resistance in treated steel, hard chromed or with a TICN protection.
The jets are located in the center of the ring or can be drifted for a measurement near a shoulder-piece. The measuring ring equipped with 2 jets allows the measurement of a diameter and ovalization (by scanning),and the one with 3 jets allows the measurement of the average of the 3 radius and the triangulation (by scanning).

• Fixed ring : on a stand, on a square directly on transducer for parts easy to handle.
• Mobile ring : at the end of the hose with a handle for heavy, unhandy parts or for parts in machining process.
